Islamabad/New Delhi, June 20 — In a significant revelation that alters the narrative surrounding the recent Indo-Pak military escalation, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has confirmed that Indian forces successfully targeted two major Pakistani airbases during Operation Sindhu.
The admission marks the first official acknowledgment from Islamabad of the effectiveness of India’s preemptive strike.According to Dar, India launched BrahMos missile strikes on the Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi and the Shorkot Airbase during the operation. The strikes reportedly took place on the night of May 6–7, catching the Pakistani military off guard.
Dar revealed that the Indian assault came just as Pakistan was preparing its own retaliatory strike, effectively outpacing Islamabad’s response.
