November 16- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Amir Rashid Ali, a resident of Samboora, Pampore, for his alleged involvement in the November 10 car bomb blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed 10 people and injured 32.According to the agency, Amir—under whose name the explosive-laden car was registered—was taken into custody in Delhi following extensive searches after the case was transferred from city police on November 16.Investigations revealed that Amir had conspired with the suspected “suicide bomber,” Umar Un Nabi, to execute the attack. The NIA stated that Amir had travelled to Delhi to help purchase the vehicle later used as a vehicle-borne IED.

Forensic analysis has confirmed the identity of the deceased driver as Umar Un Nabi, a Pulwama resident and an Assistant Professor in the General Medicine Department at Al Falah University, Faridabad.
