Cyber Police Kashmir Warns Against Sharing Security Operation Details Online

SRINAGAR: Cyber Police Kashmir has issued a stern advisory urging the public to refrain from posting or circulating any information, images, or videos related to security deployments or ongoing operations on social media platforms.In an official statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Cyber Police said: “The public is advised against sharing or uploading any material related to security deployments or operational activities. Such actions pose significant security risks and may attract strict legal consequences under applicable laws. Citizens are urged to act responsibly, as such conduct can jeopardize public safety.”

The advisory underscores the potential dangers of disclosing sensitive information online, which may be exploited to disrupt peace or endanger lives. Authorities have called for public cooperation to ensure the safety and effectiveness of security efforts across the region.
