SRINAGAR — All civilian flights from Srinagar Airport have been suspended for the day following the closure of the airfield by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
Airport Director Javed Anjum confirmed the suspension, saying, “The airfield is closed, and no civil flight operations will take place at Srinagar Airport today.”
The closure follows Operation Sindoor—a targeted strike conducted by the Indian Armed Forces on militant camps across the Line of Control (LoC).
Passengers have been urged to verify flight status with their airlines before heading to the airport.
