Nowshera, May 2: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction work at the PWD Dak Bungalow in Nowshera. The project, being executed at an estimated cost of ₹2.49 crore, is scheduled for completion by December 2025.

Accompanied by officials from the Public Works Department (PWD), Chowdhary took stock of the construction progress and assessed the quality of work being carried out. He directed the executing agency to ensure adherence to the set timeline and maintain transparency at every stage of the project.

The Deputy Chief Minister underlined the need for strict monitoring to ensure that quality parameters are met. He said the government is committed to strengthening infrastructure in the region and improving public facilities through timely and accountable execution of developmental projects.

Officials briefed Chowdhary on various aspects of the construction and assured him of timely completion.
