Srinagar, Apr 29: Secretary, Rural Development Department (RDD), Mohammad Aijaz Asad on Monday conducted a detailed review of major rural development schemes across Jammu and Kashmir, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), Panchayat Ghars, and Panchayat Learning Centres (PLCs).
During the meeting, Secretary Asad emphasized the need for timely completion of all pending works and directed officials to expedite the resolution of land-related issues hindering progress. He also stressed on the full operationalization of PLCs to enhance community learning and engagement at the grassroots level.
Underscoring the government’s commitment to transparent and accountable governance, he instructed the field functionaries to ensure timely service delivery and inclusive rural development.
