New Delhi: Senior advocate and political leader Kapil Sibal on [insert day] called for strong diplomatic measures against countries maintaining trade ties with Pakistan. Speaking on the issue, Sibal said that India should make it clear to all major trading nations that they cannot access Indian markets while continuing trade relations with Pakistan.
“We must convey to all key nations engaged in commerce with Pakistan that they cannot simultaneously benefit from trade with India,” Sibal stated. “This stance should be a part of every diplomatic dialogue. The United Nations must also be urged to exert pressure, and a resolution should be tabled in the Security Council. It would be important to observe whether China supports or opposes such a move,” he added.
Sibal emphasized the need for a cohesive and assertive international diplomatic strategy to address India’s concerns.
