April 24: Students in Kangan, a town in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, held a protest rally on Wednesday to condemn the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. Carrying placards and raising slogans, the students called for peace and an end to violence in the region.
The demonstrators expressed solidarity with the victims and demanded that the perpetrators be brought to justice. Local residents and civil society members also joined the march, echoing the students’ call for a safer and more secure Kashmir.
Authorities maintained a peaceful atmosphere during the rally, which concluded without any untoward incidents.
