SRINAGAR: In response to the prevailing situation in the Valley, the University of Kashmir and Cluster University Srinagar have announced the postponement of all examinations scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The decision was conveyed through separate official notices issued by the institutions, both stating that the scheduled exams “stand postponed.” Students have been urged to stay updated through official university portals and maintain contact with their departments for rescheduling details.

Despite the exam deferments, there has been no directive from authorities regarding the suspension of routine academic activities across colleges and universities in the region.

The postponements coincide with a valley-wide shutdown call by several organisations, following a recent attack targeting tourists in the Pahalgam area on Tuesday.
