Srinagar, June 2: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday received the first batch of Hujjaaj returning from the holy pilgrimage of Hajj at Srinagar International Airport.
The Chief Minister warmly welcomed the pilgrims and extended his heartfelt congratulations on the successful completion of their sacred journey to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Interacting with the returning pilgrims, Omar Abdullah expressed hope that their prayers and spiritual experiences would contribute to peace, prosperity, and well-being in Jammu and Kashmir and the country as a whole.
Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Sogami, was also present on the occasion and joined in welcoming the pilgrims.
