Srinagar, April 23: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday paid heartfelt tributes to the victims of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, during his visit to Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
In a solemn ceremony held at the Kashmir Armed Police Headquarters, Shah observed a moment of silence in memory of the lives lost in the tragic incident. The Home Minister also met with the victims’ families, offering condolences and assuring them of full support from the central government. Security across the region has been intensified following the attack, with agencies directed to remain on high alert.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which occurred earlier this week, claimed the lives of several civilians and left many injured. Investigations are ongoing, with security forces launching search operations to apprehend the perpetrators.
