Rewa (Madhya Pradesh): Three members of a family were killed after a speeding Audi car rammed into their motorcycle from behind in Rewa district on Sunday evening, police said.

The victims were identified as Bhagwat Vishwakarma (55), his son Shivam Vishwakarma, and a woman relative, Sheetal Vishwakarma. They were returning after distributing wedding invitation cards for the elder son’s marriage, scheduled for February 24.

The accident occurred near Kosta village on the Rewa–Prayagraj highway, barely 2 km from their home. An eyewitness said the Audi, coming from the Prayagraj side at high speed, hit the motorcycle and then crashed into the divider.

All three were thrown off the bike and died on the spot, turning a moment of celebration into tragedy. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
