Nowshera, Saturday:
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Saturday inaugurated a Mega Health Camp organised by the 80th Infantry Brigade, Nowshera, at Government Senior Secondary School, Seri Nowshera.
A large number of people from Seri Nowshera and adjoining areas availed themselves of the free medical services during the camp. The health camp offered comprehensive healthcare facilities, including consultations by super-specialist doctors, laboratory investigations, ECG services and free distribution of medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and the organisers for conducting the camp and extending quality healthcare services to the public, particularly in remote and border areas. He said such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening healthcare outreach and ensuring timely medical attention to the needy.
Local residents expressed gratitude to the organisers for arranging the camp and providing advanced medical facilities at their doorstep. The event witnessed active participation from medical teams, army personnel and civil administration officials.
