Srinagar: The Cyber Police on Sunday conducted a raid in the Rajbagh area of Srinagar and detained two persons in connection with a cyber fraud case, officials said.
During the operation, police seized office-related documents and electronic devices. The action was taken in connection with FIR No. 20/2025 registered at the Cyber Police Station, Srinagar, under Section 66(D) of the Information Technology Act and Section 112 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The detained individuals have been identified as Zaffar Ahmad Mir of Aramwari, Rajbagh, Srinagar, and Sudeep, a native of Nepal currently residing on rent in the same locality.
Further investigation is underway, officials added.
