Srinagar, Dec 12: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the status of CAPEX expenditure, with a focus on the progress of ongoing developmental works across the region.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister took a detailed appraisal of department-wise utilisation of funds and called for expediting execution to ensure timely completion of projects. He emphasised that optimal and timely use of allocated resources is essential for delivering visible improvements on the ground.

Abdullah directed officials to strengthen monitoring mechanisms and remove all administrative or logistical bottlenecks that may hinder progress. He underscored the need for coordinated efforts among departments to keep development works on track and ensure that citizens benefit from planned initiatives without delay.
