SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir till November 3, with light to moderate rain and snowfall likely over higher reaches between November 4 and 5.
Director MET Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad said the weather will turn cloudy on November 4–5, with precipitation expected at many places in Kashmir and scattered areas of Jammu, mainly from the evening of November 4 to early November 5.
The MET department also warned of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30–40 kmph) at a few places on the evening of November 4.
Dry conditions are expected to return from November 6 to 15, accompanied by a notable drop in temperatures from November 5 onward.
