Baramulla, Oct 20 — Minister for Health and Medical Education, Sakeena Itoo, on Monday conducted a surprise inspection of Primary Health Centres (PHC) Sheeri and PHC Boniyar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district to assess healthcare facilities and service delivery.During the visit, the Minister interacted with medical staff and patients to review the functioning of the centres, availability of medicines, and overall infrastructure. She emphasized the importance of a people-centric approach, accountability, and dedication in strengthening the primary healthcare system across the region.“The government is committed to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every citizen, especially those living in remote and rural areas,” Itoo said, directing health officials to maintain efficiency and transparency in service delivery.
