October 19 : A political row erupted in Karnataka after authorities in Chittapur, the home constituency of Minister Priyank Kharge, denied permission for RSS and Bhim Army route marches, citing potential law and order issues.

In an official order, Tahsildar Nagayya Hiremath said police intelligence warned of possible clashes among the RSS, Bhim Army, and Indian Dalit Panthers if simultaneous processions were held. The decision also followed tensions after RSS worker Danesh Naron allegedly threatened Minister Kharge, triggering statewide protests.

Meanwhile, the Chittapur Town Municipal Council removed RSS banners and cut-outs installed without official approval.
