SRINAGAR: A woman died and two others were injured after their vehicle hit a road divider in Udhampur district on Saturday.
Officials said the vehicle (JK02CH-5448), owned by NHPC employee Abdul Kabir Zargar of Kishtwar, was travelling on the highway when the accident occurred. The injured were shifted to hospital, where the woman, identified as Shafeeqa Begum, succumbed to her injuries.
Kabir Zargar and Muhammad Asif Zargar are undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
