Agra, Uttar Pradesh — U.S. Vice President JD Vance, along with his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, and their children, arrived in Agra on Monday. They were warmly received at the airport by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

This visit forms part of the Vice President’s ongoing diplomatic mission to enhance ties between India and the United States. Agra, known for its iconic Taj Mahal, provides a fitting backdrop for this important occasion.

Upon their arrival, Chief Minister Adityanath greeted the Vance family, expressing the significance of the visit. “We are honored to host the Vice President of the United States in this historic city, symbolizing our commitment to strengthening bilateral relations,” Adityanath said.

During their stay, the Vance family is expected to visit local landmarks, including the Taj Mahal, and engage with local officials. Their visit also aims to highlight shared interests between the two nations in areas such as trade, education, and cultural exchange.

This diplomatic visit represents a continued effort to foster a deeper partnership between the U.S. and India, reinforcing cooperation on multiple fronts.
