Rajouri, J&K – April 21, 2025 – In a significant security operation, the security forces have successfully destroyed a high-explosive mortar shell that was recovered from Manyal village in Thanamandi, Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, which took place earlier today, prevented a potentially devastating threat to local residents and the surrounding areas.
The mortar shell was found by security personnel during routine patrols in the village, prompting immediate action to ensure the safety of the public. Experts from the bomb disposal unit were quickly deployed to the site, and after securing the area, they safely detonated the hazardous shell, rendering it harmless.( ANI)
