SRINAGAR: Security forces launched a search operation in the Rajbagh sector of Kathua district on Wednesday following reports of suspicious activity, officials said.
The joint operation by police and the Border Security Force (BSF) focused along the Ujh river near Jhathana village, close to the International Border, after locals spotted three suspected individuals, one carrying a large backpack.
While no arrests have been made, footprints confirmed movement in the area. The search operation is ongoing.
