Srinagar, July 4:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday addressed the 6th Convocation of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) Kashmir, lauding the institution for its significant contributions to the agricultural sector and higher education in Jammu and Kashmir.
In his address, the Lt Governor commended the university for creating a competent and competitive human resource pool that is helping to shape the farm sector in the Union Territory. He also noted the remarkable improvement in SKUAST-K’s national ranking, describing it as a reflection of the university’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
“I congratulate the university for its outstanding efforts and extend my best wishes to all graduating students for a bright and successful future,” Sinha said.The convocation ceremony witnessed the awarding of degrees and medals to meritorious students from various faculties. Senior officials, faculty members, students, and dignitaries were present on the occasion.
