April 23, 2025 – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has expressed deep sorrow over the ongoing violence in Kashmir, calling it heartbreaking and urging for an end to the bloodshed. Taking to social media, the actor wrote, “Kashmir, heaven on planet Earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai.”

The emotional statement comes amid a fresh wave of unrest in the Valley, where a series of attacks have once again disrupted life and claimed civilian lives. Khan’s message has since gone viral, with thousands of fans and followers sharing and reacting to it, lauding the actor for using his platform to raise awareness.

The quote, “Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai,” is widely interpreted as a paraphrased reference to a verse from the Quran (5:32), which underscores the sanctity of human life.

Many social media users echoed Khan’s sentiments, calling for unity, compassion, and peace in the region. Human rights groups and civil society members have also urged for immediate intervention to safeguard innocent lives.

While politicians continue to debate solutions, voices like Khan’s from the entertainment industry serve as powerful reminders of the human cost of violence and the urgent need to restore peace in the Valley.
