Poonch Administration Reviews Preparedness at Shelter Camps

Poonch, May 7: The District Administration Poonch conducted a detailed review of preparedness at various designated shelter camps amid the current situation. Arrangements are in place to relocate people to safer locations as a precautionary measure.

A team of senior officers, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Chief Planning Officer (CPO), and Tehsildar Haveli, visited the proposed shelter sites to assess facility readiness and ensure that all logistical and support systems are operational.

The designated shelter camps include Caramel School Chandak, Dingla University Campus, Ishat ul Uloom Chandak, Higher Secondary School (HSS) Chandak, Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Lassana, Government High School (GHS) Sanai, Government Middle School (GMS) Sanai, GHSS Seri Khawaja, and Polytechnic College Sathra.

According to the administration, essential services such as accommodation, food, and medical assistance are available at all the identified sites. Residents willing to relocate are encouraged to make use of these facilities.
