SRINAGAR, July 6: Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Advisor Tarun Kapoor visited Lal Chowk on Sunday, where he met with local traders and residents to hear their concerns.
Traders welcomed the outreach, expressing hope that their issues would now reach the highest level. “It means a lot to us that someone from the PMO came to listen,” said one trader.
Kapoor, a 1987-batch IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, is currently serving his second term as PMO advisor, focusing on economic affairs. He is known for his work in energy and infrastructure policy.
The visit is part of the Centre’s continued engagement with stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir.
