Rajasthan, May 4 — A Pakistani Ranger was taken into custody by the Border Security Force (BSF) after allegedly crossing the international border into India’s Rajasthan sector. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances behind the incident.
The event comes just days after an Indian BSF jawan unintentionally entered Pakistani territory. Despite established procedures such as flag meetings for such situations, Pakistan has not yet released the Indian soldier.
Officials say the apprehended Pakistani Ranger is being questioned, and efforts are likely to be made for his repatriation through official communication channels in the coming days.
