SRINAGAR, : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday attended the launch of the SKAL International Club, Kashmir Chapter, marking a significant milestone in strengthening global tourism linkages in the region.

The event, held in Srinagar, is expected to pave the way for enhanced cooperation between Jammu & Kashmir’s tourism stakeholders and international partners. Officials said the initiative will help unlock new opportunities for sustainable tourism, global networking, and industry growth.

Speaking at the launch, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of connecting Kashmir’s tourism sector with global platforms. He said such initiatives would not only boost international exposure but also encourage responsible and sustainable travel practices.
