No Change in Holiday Orders: Eid-e-Milad to be Observed Today

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has announced that a public holiday on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) will be observed today across the Union Territory.Confirming the development, a senior official from the General Administration Department said the decision stands as per the earlier notification, with no alterations made to the schedule.It may be noted that, according to the Islamic calendar, Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) falls on September 6 this year. Despite this, the administration has not revised or reissued the holiday order.
