May 21: Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast cloudy weather accompanied by intermittent light rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds across many parts of Kashmir during May 21 and 22.

According to the latest weather advisory issued by the MeT office, the Valley is expected to witness generally dry weather during the forenoon from May 23 to 25. However, brief showers and thunderstorm activity may occur at scattered places during late afternoon hours.

The weather department has further predicted a spell of hot and dry conditions from May 26 to 28, bringing a rise in daytime temperatures across the region.

From May 29 to 31, brief showers are again expected at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Authorities have advised residents, tourists, and farmers to remain updated with official weather advisories, especially during periods of thunderstorm activity and gusty winds.
