Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Friday paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary, observed as Martyrs’ Day across the country.
In a post on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor remembered the supreme sacrifice and dedication of Mahatma Gandhi and other great men and women who laid down their lives for the nation. He said their contributions continue to inspire generations and guide India’s moral and democratic values.
“Paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary and remembered the sacrifice and dedication of all great men and women on Martyrs’ Day,” Sinha wrote.
