Jammu, Jan 21- Lok Bhavan J&K on Wednesday celebrated Statehood Day of Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya. The event highlighted the cultural diversity and rich heritage that are working as powerful engines for a region’s growth and fostering innovation, economic vitality, and social resilience.
Speaking on the occasion, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the cultural diversity and rich heritage of Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya are acting as powerful engines for regional growth and social resilience.
In a post on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor said that Lok Bhavan, J&K, celebrated the Statehood Day of Tripura, Manipur and Meghalaya, showcasing the unique traditions and cultural vibrancy of the three northeastern states.
He noted that the cultural richness of these states is fostering innovation, economic vitality and strengthening social cohesion across the region.
In another post, LG Sinha said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Northeast has witnessed historic development. He stated that the progress achieved is not only driving economic growth and ensuring peace but is also safeguarding and celebrating the region’s unique cultural identity.
The Lieutenant Governor further said that focused development initiatives have helped attract tourists and boost the hospitality sector, contributing to overall regional prosperity.
The celebration at Lok Bhavan reflected the spirit of unity in diversity and underscored the importance of cultural heritage in nation-building, he added.
