Srinagar, Oct 04: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference (NC) president Dr. Farooq Abdullah was admitted to a private hospital in Srinagar after developing health complications, party leaders confirmed on Saturday.The 87-year-old leader had been unwell for the past several days and was diagnosed with an abdominal infection earlier this week. Following medical advice, he was shifted to hospital for treatment.“Dr. Abdullah was not feeling well for the last few days, but his condition is improving steadily. Doctors are hopeful that he will be discharged either later today or by tomorrow,” a senior NC leader said.
