DC Srinagar Extends Greetings on Urs of Shah-e-Hamdan

Srinagar, June 3: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Ameer-e-Kabeer, Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA).

In his message, Dr. Bilal paid rich tributes to the revered Sufi saint, acknowledging his pivotal role in the spread of Islam in Kashmir and the enrichment of its spiritual and cultural fabric.

He said the “unparalleled” contributions of Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA) in promoting Islamic education, enlightenment, and peace laid the foundation for the region’s cultural and religious identity.
