Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reportedly instructed all Chief Ministers across India to ensure that no Pakistani nationals stay in the country after the deadline of April 27. The directive comes after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which resulted in 26 deaths.

The Indian government has accused Pakistan of harboring militants involved in the assault and has ordered all Pakistani nationals to leave India by the end of the week. In response to the growing tension, India has suspended visa issuance to Pakistani citizens and closed the Attari-Wagah border. Pakistan has denied the accusations and warned that India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty could escalate tensions further. In retaliation, Pakistan has closed its airspace to Indian airlines.
