SRINAGAR: Authorities have ordered the closure of Government Middle School Khonchipora in Kunzer, Baramulla, after several students contracted chickenpox.
The Zonal Education Officer said the decision, taken in consultation with health officials, aims to safeguard students. A medical team has been sent to the school for checks and preventive measures.
Parents have been urged to stay alert for symptoms as the suspension of classes will continue until further orders.
