According to the IMD, intense rainfall activity is likely to continue in Gujarat, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand till the 26th of this month.

The department has further cautioned that heavy showers are expected tomorrow in several states and Union Territories, including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.

Alongside heavy rainfall, the IMD has also forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places across these regions over the next two to three days.

The orange alert signifies the possibility of disruption in daily life due to severe weather, with authorities urging residents in the affected areas to exercise caution and stay updated on weather advisories.
