SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements for the maiden Khelo India Water Sports Festival, set to be held at the iconic Dal Lake from August 21 to 23.
The three-day national event will see around 800 participants from 28 States and Union Territories competing in five water sports disciplines. Officials said the festival is expected to serve as a vibrant platform to promote Kashmir’s tourism, art, culture, and heritage.
