Dhanbad, August 1:President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday emphasized India’s strides in science and technology, asserting that the nation is steadily moving towards becoming a global technological superpower. She was addressing the 45th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
Urging students to embrace innovation, President Murmu said the youth must lead the nation’s technological advancement by focusing on research, creativity, and sustainable solutions.
“India’s future as a knowledge economy depends heavily on our ability to innovate,” she said, adding that institutions like ISM-Dhanbad have a crucial role to play in nurturing talent and fostering cutting-edge research.
