Encounter Underway in Basantgarh, Security Tightened Ahead of Amarnath Yatra: IGP Jammu

Srinagar, June 26: An encounter broke out in the Bihali area of Basantgarh, Udhampur, on Thursday morning, with contact established around 8:30 AM, confirmed IGP Jammu Zone Bhim Sen Tuti.He said the search operation is ongoing despite bad weather. Regarding the Amarnath Yatra, he added that a full dress rehearsal was conducted on Wednesday and security has been tightened
