New Delhi, June 2 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held comprehensive discussions with President Santiago Peña of Paraguay at Hyderabad House, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation across a wide range of sectors.
According to a statement by MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, the two leaders explored opportunities for collaboration in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, technology, renewable energy, healthcare, critical minerals, and railways, along with fostering people-to-people ties between India and Paraguay.
President Peña, who is on an official visit to India, strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and expressed solidarity with the people of India in the fight against terrorism.
