New Delhi — Following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi has been placed on high alert with increased security measures across the capital. Delhi Police sources confirmed that all law enforcement agencies have been instructed to remain vigilant and closely monitor key areas, including popular tourist destinations and other sensitive locations.

The attack, which targeted Indian tourists and left several dead, has raised security concerns in major cities across India. Authorities in Delhi have responded swiftly, ramping up security around prominent landmarks, places of worship, and tourist spots as part of precautionary measures to prevent any potential threats in the aftermath of the incident.

“We are on high alert and have instructed all personnel to stay vigilant, especially around sensitive locations,” a senior Delhi Police official stated. “Increased patrolling, surveillance, and security checks will be in place to ensure public safety.”
