New Delhi, May 15: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday announced that the NEET-UG re-examination will be conducted on June 21 amid allegations of irregularities in this year’s medical entrance test.
Addressing a press conference, Pradhan said the government’s “topmost priority” is safeguarding students’ futures and ensuring a fair examination process. He assured candidates that strict action is being taken against those involved in malpractice linked to NEET-UG.
The minister also announced a major reform in the examination system, stating that NEET-UG will shift to a computer-based test (CBT) format from next year onwards.
“We will not let malpractice happen this time. The government is with you,” Pradhan said.
