Budgam, Feb 12: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat, on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the arrangements being put in place for the holy month of Ramadan, directing all concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential services, particularly during Sehri and Iftar hours.
During the meeting, the DC emphasized the need for round-the-clock power and adequate water supply to facilitate smooth observance of the fasting month. He instructed the Power Development Department to maintain an uninterrupted electricity supply schedule, especially during early morning and evening peak hours, while the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department was directed to ensure sufficient and regular water distribution across all areas of the district.
