Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, on Tuesday inaugurated a one-day workshop on Fire Safety and Mitigation Strategies, emphasizing the urgent need for public awareness and strict adherence to fire safety protocols to prevent loss of life and property.
The workshop, organised to sensitise stakeholders and residents about fire hazards, focused on preventive measures, emergency response, and mitigation strategies, particularly in view of frequent fire incidents reported in congested residential and commercial areas.
