SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday inaugurated the redeveloped Amira Kadal Bridge, marking a major milestone in the preservation of the city’s architectural heritage while enhancing urban mobility.
The redevelopment project, which was launched in December 2023, was executed with a strong focus on due diligence in heritage conservation, structural safety, and quality control. Authorities said special care was taken to retain the historical character of the bridge, which holds significant cultural and architectural value for Srinagar.
