Kulgam, Jan 19
Kulgam Police, in coordination with the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Government Railway Police Force (GRPF), and Fire and Emergency Services, on Monday conducted a mock drill exercise at Railway Station Qazigund to assess emergency response mechanisms and preparedness in handling critical situations.

The exercise was aimed at testing inter-agency coordination, response time, and the effectiveness of standard operating procedures during emergency scenarios, including security threats, fire incidents, and evacuation processes.

During the drill, personnel simulated real-life emergency conditions to evaluate crowd management, rescue operations, and medical response. Fire and Emergency Services demonstrated firefighting techniques, while security forces showcased coordinated action to neutralize potential threats and ensure the safety of passengers and railway staff.
