Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday laid the foundation stone for Meerz Health Care Hospital in Srinagar, marking a significant step towards strengthening the region’s medical infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor said the upcoming hospital will play a vital role in improving access to quality healthcare services for the residents of Srinagar and adjoining districts. He emphasized that the government is committed to expanding healthcare facilities and ensuring affordable, modern medical care for all sections of society.
The proposed Meerz Health Care Hospital is expected to be equipped with advanced medical facilities and modern technology, which will help reduce the burden on existing hospitals and provide specialized treatment closer to home for patients from nearby districts.
