Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday launched a special edition of Sangarmal magazine, published by the Hindu Education Society, Kashmir, and underscored the vital role of cultural and spiritual heritage in fostering social cohesion and national development.
Sharing details of the event on X, the Lieutenant Governor said he was glad to unveil the special edition and highlighted the importance of education and shared cultural values as a unifying force for society. He noted that cultural and spiritual heritage can serve as a strong foundation for creating a blueprint for a thriving and harmonious future.
During his address, LG Sinha spoke on social cohesion and emphasized the need to effectively use India’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy to strengthen unity among diverse communities. He stressed that education, rooted in shared values and traditions, can act as a powerful thread binding society together.
In another post, the Lieutenant Governor remarked that despite the rapid pace of technological advancement and globalization, India’s timeless spiritual and cultural heritage remains central to shaping society. “Our shared beliefs, traditions, arts, rituals, and values will shape the society and fuel the holistic growth of the nation,” he said.
The event highlighted the continued relevance of cultural institutions and publications like Sangarmal in preserving heritage while contributing to social harmony and nation-building.
