Srinagar, Nov 26: The Jammu and Kashmir region is expected to witness predominantly dry weather conditions from November 26 to December 10, according to the latest meteorological outlook. The extended dry spell comes as temperatures continue to dip across the Valley with the onset of late autumn.
From November 26 to December 1, the weather will remain generally dry, offering clear skies during the day and colder nights, particularly in Kashmir’s higher reaches.
On December 2, the MeT department predicts generally cloudy conditions towards the afternoon, though no major precipitation is expected.
The period from December 3 to 4 will again remain dry, maintaining the ongoing pattern of stable weather.
A similar trend is expected on December 5, with cloudy conditions developing towards the afternoon, but chances of rain or snowfall remain minimal.
From December 6 to 10, the weather will return to a generally dry pattern across both divisions of the Union Territory.
Officials say the prolonged dry spell may lead to further dip in night temperatures, especially in the Valley, where winter-like conditions have already begun to intensify.
